Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Zagora Desert

Drive Time: ~7 hours (with stops)

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains. Stop to explore Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco's most famous kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (Shared tours: guide not included—optional group tours available for ~€2.)

Continue through the Draa Valley, dotted with palm groves, tribal villages, and ancient kasbahs, before reaching the desert. In Zagora, enjoy a sunset camel ride into the dunes and settle into your desert camp for dinner, music, and stargazing around the fire.

Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Drive Time: ~6.5–7 hours (with stops)

Rise early to catch sunrise over the desert before breakfast at camp. Then, journey back through the Atlas Mountains, passing through Ouarzazate. Expect to arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
